This eight step hair care product line will leave you with salon quality, healthy hair, every day! Many people are curious about how and why Bo decided to start this line. We don’t blame you… Bo Stegall is a very interesting man! That’s why we decided to give you an insiders look at the man behind the product, Bo Stegall!

Bo Stegall grew up with his mother, Faye. She was a hairstylist in his hometown who was, when Bo was 17, diagnosed with small cell lung and brain cancer. Bo initially had plans to go to the University of South Carolina after highschool but that changed when his mother died five days after he graduated.

Stegall made the decision to stay close to family while they all grieved the death of his mother. He attended Tri-County Tech to pass the time. However, one day when he was sitting in Psychology class watching a movie, Bo realized that there was a plan for him. Bo decided that he wanted to become a hairdresser, move to Los Angeles, and get an education from respected stylists in the industry.

Stegall began to feel like he finally had a dream. So he drove across the country, without a job or place to stay.

Once Bo arrived in California, he found a roommate. By sheer coincidence, this roommate turned out to be a celebrity hair stylist. Bo quickly became his full-time assistant and studied at the Western Beauty Institute in his spare time. This deal worked out well for Bo. Whenever Cherry was booked, Bo would take care of Cherry's clients.

This was the break that Bo was waiting for. This opened up opportunities and set him up for success in California.

By the age of 18, Bo was nervously standing behind Missy Elliott with a comb in his hand in Los Angeles. Coming from Dacusville in Pickens County, this small town boy had found his true calling.

Shortly after this celebrity encounter, Bo began traveling across the country, pursuing his dream of becoming a hairstylist. His career quickly took off and he began starring in TV shows and styling A-listers such as Eva Longoria and Demi Moore. Bo has appeared on many different TV shows on different networks as a Style Expert and Product Developer. He and his products have been featured on ABC, NBC, CBS, Style Network, VH1, MTV, E! Network, TLC, Netflix, and Hulu.

From the moment he left home, Bo wanted to achieve excellence right away. He moved to Beverly Hills and began what he thought was living the dream. He began working 6 to 7 days a week and averaging 17 hour days. Bo quickly realized that he was living society’s version of success, but that wasn’t what was going to make him happy. He didn’t have time for himself or time to see his family, which he values so greatly.

Stegall realized that this was not where he needed to be. Stegall moved back to Dacusville at age 24. He quickly decided to teach everything that he had learned to a new generation of stylists. This would save people from having to move across the country to get first-class instruction on hair styling.

This wasn’t easy at first. He had to build his clientele from scratch. He would message people daily on Facebook to gain clients. Initially, it wasn't very fruitful. He'd get one response a month. Over time, however, it grew to one person a week.

"You have to define what success means to you. For me and in my opinion, true success is not what you've done for yourself but what you've done for others. I hope to inspire people to live through their hearts and make decisions based off of their heart and to become a part of their community and to give back." - Bo Stegall, (Greenville News - Romando Dixson)

By age 25, Bo realized that The Beverly Hills lifestyle was lucrative and exciting but a bit too much so Bo chose to leave Beverly Hills and open two salons in Greenville. Once Bo moved to Greenville and opened a salon on Church Street, business started booming. Within two years, he was booked six months in advance for hair appointments. This smaller town is all about the people, not the big businesses which is the small town country kind of love that Bo had been searching for.

The Flagship store, Bo Stegall The Salon, is located on E. Stone Avenue. Within this location there is a separate area called, Bo Stegall The Gentleman. This section of the store caters to men and specializes in razor shaves, hot towel treatments, as well as neck and shoulder massages.

Another location, called Bo Stegall Atelier, is located on Church Street. This location provides its clients with an exclusive, private experience that requires a reservation with a hair painter or hair sculptor.

Ontop of all of this, Bo opened a third salon as well as a luxury dog hotel - The Noble Dog Hotel. This dog hotel features a pet stylist, dog trainer, massage therapist, custom-made suites with glass walls, private web cams in every room, as well as a chef that makes all-natural dog food.

After his success, Bo decided to honor his mother by starting a hair care product line that was filled with safe and effective products. He settled on creating a trademarked 8 step collection of products that consumers would love in honor of his mother’s legacy. Bo spent over 9 years developing Bo Stegall - The Collection. He wanted this anti-aging line of hair products to not only blow people away with the results, but also used as many natural products as possible to achieve it, in honor of his mother!

The entrepreneurial lust is not just a random quirk that Bo has. Both of his parents started their own businesses from the ground up. His father, Bobby Stegall, owns Stegall’s Grading and still uses a tractor to dig holes for swimming pools! Age isn’t a factor when you’re a business owner!

Bo likes to keep an open line of communication with his customers. That’s why he encourages his clients to message him personally on Facebook. He will answer any questions you have about hair and scalp questions. Even if you’re not friends on Facebook, he has his permissions as open so you can still message him!
